SOCIODRAMA AND COMUNITY WORK:
"Between the Violence and the Hope: as it survive

This workshop shows active techniques for comunity work showing the connection between the construction of the social and individual reality. It will be dedicated to the conflicts resolution task and of work for the peace and focus in the cultural scenes of the community that are related with peace and violence. These scenes will be dramatized with Sociodrama, mitodrama, playback and techniques of the theater of opressed. These dramatizations stimulate the hearing it Community it become co-creative of its comunity life. It finalizes demonstration of this technique counted on 400 persons in Bergama, Turkey in June of 2007.

Sociodrama is a useful methodology for teaching and exploring ethics. In this experiential workshop we will choose an ethical dilemma to explore as a group and we will create a Sociodrama to find some questions, some answers and some discoveries about the issue and about ourselves. This workshop is suitable for all levels of participants. It is limited to 25 participants.


SOCIODRAMA AND COLECTIVE TRAUMA

Time does not heal all wounds: decades after disaster entire communities may still experience the long-term effects of trauma. This Workshop will examine the psychological and social damage of trauma to society as a whole. We will explore ways in the rehabilitation of survivors of collective trauma through, for example, Sociodrama and related group work. In trying to understanding the past, we are also preparing for the future. This workshop is based on a new book on Sociodrama and Collective Trauma and on over 30 years experience of treating survivors of war trauma and other forms of disaster from all over the world.

Myths and fairy tales are rooted in our unconsciousness and they are dealing with deep collective conflicts. In the workshop, we are working with socodrama and discussing how we with the help of sociodrama (myth drama) can work with change and personal growth.




ENCOUNTER WITH TEENAGER IN AN MULTICULTURAL SETTING

To train teenagers how to build meaningful relationships is a challenge. We
both work in order to strength healthy development. One of us in school and
the other in asylum for refugees. In the workshop we will do some of the
exercises we use, and share our experiences.




SOCIODRAMA AND "INCOGNITO AUXILIARES"

Its goal is to demonstrate how we may work with the concept of Co-Unconscious as one of the keys to our understanding of the Encounter in a group and also to what really happens with the technique of the “incognito auxiliaireis”.

We will use active methods such as psychodrama, sculptures, genosociogram and the new technique of the “incognito auxiliairies” and also we will have a short theoretical presentation about the main concepts involved.
